Dissolve, don't scrub
An oil phase, then a water phase. Clean skin should be comfortable skin, not tight skin.

Water before oil, every time. With these formulas the order is the active ingredient.

How the routine actually runs.
Not a catalogue of claims. Three ordinary moments in a day, done in the right order.
Morning
Cleanse, hydrate, finish. Three steps and roughly two minutes, ending in a tube that is treatment and coverage at the same time.
Evening
The double cleanse, then the active layer on damp skin, then oil to close it. This is the half of the day the results come from.

The house
Seoul writes the method. Paris decides when to stop.
The Korean half of this brand is a sequence: layers, doses, an order you do not improvise with. Ginseng, centella asiatica and panthenol, used the way hanbang pharmacy has used them for a very long time.
The French half is the discipline to end it. Four steps rather than ten. One tube that is both the treatment and the finish. A face that reads as skin rather than as a routine.

Cleanse
The first Korean rule is to dissolve rather than scrub. An oil phase takes down sunscreen, pigment and the day's sebum; a water phase takes down the oil. Skin ends up clean and still comfortable, which is the whole point. Tight skin is damaged skin, not clean skin.

Treat
This is where a formula either works or does not. Serums go onto damp skin so the water has somewhere to travel; oils close the sequence, because nothing passes through an oil once it is on. Get the order wrong and you have paid for a layer that never arrives.

Hydrate
Hyaluronic acid draws water in. What sits beside it decides how the skin behaves once the water is there: niacinamide at five percent for a lit finish, zinc at one percent for a matte one. Same hydration, two different surfaces, and only one of them is right for you.

Finish
The BB and CC range is treatment first and makeup second: encapsulated pigment that breaks on contact with the skin, broad-spectrum protection, and care still working underneath at six in the evening. It is the layer the house is known for, and the reason the other three exist.
